Jetson hardware and vision pipelines for your edge-AI product
If your team has the AI model and needs the hardware to run it, I build that part: a carrier board around an NVIDIA Jetson module, the power and interfaces around it, and a DeepStream pipeline that gets video from the camera to your model.
What I do
Carrier board design
A custom board around a Jetson Orin NX or Orin Nano module, sized for your enclosure, power budget and I/O instead of a dev kit.
Power, networking and cameras
Power trees, PoE, and camera and display interfaces such as MIPI, planned at the architecture stage rather than patched in later.
DeepStream pipelines
Video ingest, inference and output built on NVIDIA DeepStream and implemented on the hardware it will ship on.
Deployment
Containerized software on Jetson, with dependency and runtime problems worked out on the real board.
Bring-up
Power-on, debug and test of the board and the pipeline together.
How it starts
-
1
A 20-minute call
You tell me what you're building and where you're stuck. No cost.
-
2
A small, fixed-scope start
One defined problem at a fixed fee, so you can judge the work before committing to more.
-
3
Build, with clear gates
Larger work runs in phases. You see progress at every gate and decide whether to continue.
Most edge-AI work starts with a short, fixed-fee feasibility sprint: module choice, power and I/O plan, and a pipeline proof on a dev kit before any custom hardware.
Questions founders ask
- Should we design a custom carrier board or buy one?
- It depends on volume, enclosure and I/O. An off-the-shelf carrier is often the right first step. A custom board pays off when size, power, cost or interfaces don't fit, and I'll give you a straight answer on the first call.
- Our model already runs on a dev kit. Can you help?
- Yes. Moving from a dev kit to your own hardware and a pipeline you can ship is exactly where I help.
- Do you take on camera and vision products?
- Selectively. I'm co-founder of DomeSense, an edge-vision company, so I decline projects that compete directly with it.
